When it comes to India vs Pakistan clash - it was known that the Indian team have a command over the Men in Green. however, tables turned and the Babar Azam-led side won the match in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2021 by a 10-wicket loss on Sunday in Dubai.
Following the loss, mostly all of the Indian cricketers were trolled, but pacer Mohammed Shami became subject to massive backlash on social media.
India's most expensive bowler and went on to concede runs at an economy over 11 and Shami, who is a Muslim by religion, saw the worst of it all as he was targeted on basis of his ethnicity.
Surely, many former cricketers Virender Sehwag, VVS Laxman, Irfan Pathan and even many netizens stood up for the bowler and made sure to give back to the trollers.
However, some cricket fans are questioning about the trolling skipper Virat Kohli got, despite him being the only one who managed to help India take the score to 151. Not just him, his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and now daughter Vamika has been trolled on numerous occasions because of India's loss.
Seeing how there has been no support for the Indian captain, netizens question why show solidarity with only one player.
Shami se 100 times zyada troll toh roz Virat Kohli and Anushka bhabhi hote hain yaar unke liye aaj tak kyun kisi bade handle ne tweet nahi kiya support main?

As for the clash, after the loss, Kohli had hailed the Pakistan team for being clinical and also reckoned it was not the time to press the panic button as it was just the first game of the tournament.
The Men in Bue will now play New Zealand and would like to bounce back to winning ways and get their campaign back on track. Just as Pakistan had never won against India, the Kohli-led side has never won against the Kiwisin in an ICC tournament.
