NTA NEET 2021 entrance exam answer key, result date, re-exam - BIG updates students need to know

As lakhs of medical aspirants across India are waiting for the release of NEET 2021 entrance exam, it is expected that NEET 2021 entrance exam result would be delayed as a group of NEET 2021 aspirants have filed a writ petition before the Supreme Court seeking a re-exam on the grounds of alleged paper leak of NEET 2021 entrance exam.

It is to be noted that the National Testing Agency (NTA) usually declares the NEET results nearly a month after the entrance exam. This means that the NTA would declare the NEET 2021 entrance exam result by October 12 as the exam was held on September 12 in offline mode. Around 16 lakh candidates appeared for NET 2021 entrance exam.

It is to be noted that the incidence of alleged paper leak took place during NEET 2021 entrance exam and this matter is currently being probed by the police. Few days ago, a PIL was filed in the SC seeking re-exam and the development sparked speculations that NEET 2021 results would be delayed.

The peition seeking a re-exam has been filed by advocate Mamata Sharma, to ‘protect the interest of genuine, deserving and meritorious candidates’.

“The initial investigation has established the fact beyond doubt that the NEET UG 2021 entrance examination was irreversibly vitiated by use of fraudulent means and unfair practices. From the bare perusal of the FIR dated 12th September registered by CBI, it is crystal clear that the NEET UG 2021 entrance examination paper was leaked under a criminal conspiracy wherein involvement of renowned coaching centres and paper solver gang has been found”, the petition read, as per LIVE Law.

NEET 2021 entrance exam: Answer Key

According to reports, the NTA is likely to release the answer key for M, N, O, P for all 1 to 6 series soon. After the release of Answer key by the NTA the aspirants will be able to raise their objections against the same and calculate their scores using the same. The NTA will take the objections into consideration after which the final answer key will be released. Once released, the students will be able to download the Answer key from the official website ntaneet.nic.in.
