ICC Men's Team of the Decade: MS Dhoni leads the ODI and T20 Teams, includes THESE Indian players too

Former Indian captain and wicket-keeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni has ruled the ICC's Teams of the Decade in the limited overs.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced these teams on Sunday based on the performances, consistency of players over the period of last 10 years.

MS Dhoni has been named the captain of these sides, along with helming the wicket-keeping duties. Opening batsman Rohit Sharma and current Indian skipper Virat Kohli has also been named in the ODI and T20 teams.

In T20s, the explosive left-hander Chris Gayle has been named the other opener. Alongside Kohli, the middle-order boasts of the likes of Aaron Finch, AB de Villiers, Glenn Maxwell, West Indian limited-overs skipper Kieron Pollard and Dhoni.

In the bowling department, Lasith Malinga and Japrit Bumrah lead the pace attack with Afghanistan's Rashid Khan being the sole spinner in the side along with the part-time off-spin of Glenn Maxwell.

Similarly in the ODIs, Aaron Finch's opening partner for Australia, David Warner joins Rohit Sharma at the top, with Virat and AB maintaining their place in the middle-order. However, in the 50-overs they are joined by two of the best all-rounders in the world in Shakib-al-Hasan and Ben Stokes, along with Dhoni taking the wicket-keeping duties.

The bowling too is strengthened with the additions of the left-arm pacers Mitchell Starc and Trent Boult, along with one of the best leg-spinners in the World, Imran Tahir. And, the lost spot is kept by Lasith Malinga.
