Rohit Sharma had married Ritika Sajdeh in 2015 after dating her for nearly six years and have a daughter together.

The batsman in 2017, had even given his wife Ritika the perfect wedding anniversary gift after scoring his third ODI double century to help India post a mammoth 392/4 against Sri Lanka in the second One-day International.

Ritika, who was seen cheering for Rohit from the stands, had got emotional when her husband created history at the Punjab Cricket Association I.S. Bindra Stadium. Rohit kissed the ring on his finger and pointed towards Ritika as the crowd got on their feet to applaud his performance.

Rohit will be flying to Australia after being declared fit and will part of India's Test squad. However, the batsman would be available for selection in the last two games only as upon reaching Sydney he would have to undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine period owing to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

He would be boarding a chartered flight over the weekend from Mumbai to Dubai and from there would take a flight to Sydney on December 13. The batsman would be kept in a facility separate from the team’s bio-secure bubble and is likely to join the Indian contingent after Christmas in Melbourne, subject to the travel restrictions between Sydney and Melbourne.
