Paytm Mall offers Rs 500 cashback on Reliance JioPhone: Here's how to avail

Paytm Mall, unit of Paytm E-commerce Pvt. Ltd., is offering a flat cashback of Rs 500 on the Reliance JioPhone to its customers. Under its ‘monsoon loyalty cashback’ program, Paytm Mall has brought the price of JioPhone to Rs 1,099, 31 per cent less than its original price of Rs 1,599.

Reliance JioPhone recently has replaced Samsung as the leader of this domain. It comes powered by Spreadtrum SPRD 9820A/QC8905 SoC comprising of a dual-core CPU and Mali-400 GPU with 1.2GHz clock speed. Reliance JioPhone features a 2.4-inch QVGA (240x320 pixels) display, dual cameras (2MP rear camera, VGA camera on the front), 2,000mAh battery, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi, NFC, FM Radio, GPS, and seamless USB 2.0 connectivity. The device also comes with the voice-based Jio Assistant that enables users to compose messages, play videos, dial numbers, and more using verbal commands.

Paytm Mall customers can avail the cashback by using ‘Monsoon500’ coupon code while making their purchase using the Paytm Mall mobile app.

Meanwhile, from today onwards, customers will be able to get Reliance JioPhone in just Rs 501. Under JioPhone Monsoon Hungama offer,  those interested can purchase the JioPhone for a price of Rs 501, in exchange of their old feature phone. The offer will begin at 5:01 PM on July 21, and is valid on JioPhone and not on JioPhone 2, which will be available starting August 15.

After exchanging an old feature phone, users will have to make a recharge of either Rs 49 or Rs 153 to enjoy all the 4G services on Reliance Jio’s network. The Rs 49 prepaid plan offers 1GB of 4G data along with unlimited voice calling for a period of 28 days while the Rs 153 plan offers 1.5GB of 4G data, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day for 28 days.

Meanwhile, JioPhone 2, just like the older version will work on KAI operating system. In terms of specifications, JioPhone 2 boasts of a 2.4-inch QVGA display and comes with a QWERTY keypad. The smartphone also has a 4-way navigation key. JioPhone 2 is a dual sim device and supports LTE Bands 3, 5, 40 and 2GB Band- 900/1800.
