The actress joins Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt on the sets today
Madhuri Dixit-Nene, who was last seen on the big screen in Gulab Gang (2014), has three films lined up now. These include Total Dhamaal, Kalank and her Marathi debut Bucket List. While she has been shooting for Total Dhamaal over the last one month, today, she begins work on Kalank.
Says a source, “Madhuri will be joining Varun (Dhawan) and Alia (Bhatt) on the sets of the film today. Many of her scenes are with the two actors.”
Confirming the same, Madhuri says, “I am excited to start the shoot for Kalank today. It’s my second association with Karan Johar after Bucket List, which is being presented by him. It’s been a lovely journey so far. I can’t wait to begin this one.”
Previously, she had also done a dance track (Ghagra) in KJo’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Besides film shoots, the actress will soon start promotions for Bucket List, which releases on May 25. She is also busy planning her first production — a Marathi movie titled 15th August.
