Actor-turned-politician Kirron Kher is suffering from cancer and is undergoing treatment for the same. This news was shared by her husband Anupam Kher through an Instagram post on April 1. Her son Sikander, through pictures and videos on Instagram, has been updating fans about her health.
In her recent interview, Kirron Kher informed her fans that she is doing well now. While speaking to Hindustan Times, Kirron said, “I’ve been working even when I was in the hospital, going through treatment. I’ve been in touch with people on my phone all along. In fact, I recently inaugurated an oxygen plant in Chandigarh, virtually. But my doctor isn’t letting me travel anywhere, especially by air, since my immunity is slightly compromised due to the treatment".
Kirron also talked about the pain that one goes through during the treatment. She stated, “It’s not the ideal situation to be in. Par yeh zindagi hai. One learns to deal with it and carry on. There’s no way out except to treat it. Nobody likes going through the treatment or its side effects.”
The actress, who continues to visit the hospital every month for her treatment, talked about how unpredictable life is. She stated, “Even the doctors don’t know how and why it happened. Medical science doesn’t really have a concrete answer. I would much rather not have it. But it’s something I had to accept.”
The actress is not so active on Instagram because of her treatment. However, her husband keeps her updated about all the messages that she receives. “I am so touched by the love that I’ve received from people. They’ve been so kind. I’ve been getting wonderful messages. I’m not very active on social media. But Anupam ji has been telling me about it. I’m grateful to them and to God,” Kirron Kher concluded.
She is without a doubt one of the most dedicated women in the industry. Kirron also just shared a photo of herself working from home. One of the fans commented, “So nice to see you Kirron ji after all that you’ve gone through in recent times. Please take of your health. God bless you with all the happiness in the world.” While another fan wrote, “Get well soon take only fruit juice and vegetable juice don’t take anaj and join Swami Ramdave yog gram.”
