With barely a month left for the state board examinations to begin, state education minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama on Thursday advised the students to believe in themselves.
The address was hosted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) through Bisag portal, which is a satellite integrated programme, that allows direct interaction among both parties.
Students were addressed by education minister along with a humorist Sairam Dave who advised students to keep calm.
Chudasama said, "Till class 9, students study without any mental stress but mental stress in class 10 and 12 damages everything. Students these days have a lot of talent and can use the same with technology. The level of tolerance and understanding among parents have also reduced."
Dave said, "Board exam is not the final exam. Many times, despite the failure, we have many examples where a failed person has succeeded the most. If you experience failure, do not be disputed instead work for the next exam."
He added, "Parents put a lot of burden on children, instead, they should tap on the strength and push them towards it."
