Ahead of the state assembly election, Rajasthan BJP has a big task in hand – scouting for a safe and secured rented accommodation for its high profile national president Amit Shah in Jaipur. Shah is reported to be camping in the city for supervising and strategizing the state polls scheduled in the year-end.

BJP state chief Ashok Parnami said that Shah will come to Jaipur after the Karnataka assembly elections proposed in May, 2018. “Yes he will stay in Jaipur,” he told DNA. Sources say that Shah will be staying in Jaipur for 15 days or a month. “An independent house on rent is being searched for him. However, flat in a high security apartment is also not ruled out,” sources said. According to sources, finding an accommodation for Shah would not be easy as the party president commands ‘Z security’. “Since Amit Shah will be closely monitoring the poll affairs, we are looking for a rented place near the BJP headquarters. But finding a secluded place away from hustle and bustle of the city for security purpose in the vicinity of C Scheme is a tough job,” said a party worker.    Shah is expected to arrive in Jaipur in the month of June. So he has over 4 months to get the ball rolling for the party, which has faced three defeats in the by polls.

“BJP looks to repeat the feat this time. And it doesn’t want to take any chance. Among other things, BJP is putting its master strategist to best use for the triumph. Shah’s presence in the state will definitely ramp up the confidence of the party,” said a senior BJP official.

According to sources, Shah will come along with his team who will formulate and implement the strategy based on the inputs of grassroot workers. Before coming to Jaipur, Shah will station for some time in Bengaluru for Karnataka elections.

Meanwhile, CM Vasundhara Raje will start preparations for the assembly elections after Navratri. She is slated to launch the State tour after March 26, 2018 where she will go and meet public in every assembly segment.

Tough Job

“Since Amit Shah will be closely monitoring the poll affairs, we are looking for a rented place near the BJP headquarters. But finding a secluded place away from hustle bustle of the city for security purpose in the vicinity of C Scheme is a tough job,” said a party worker.
