Salman Khan wants at least a two-week gap between his film and Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero
Salman Khan is currently in Abu Dhabi wrapping up Race 3. The unit is expected to return on April 5, post which the Bollywood superstar will reportedly get a detailed narration from Prabhudheva on the final script of his brother Arbaaz Khan’s cop drama, Dabangg 3. A source says, “Once Salman gives his nod, the shooting is likely to begin. Most probably, he will start filming within a month.” Other cast members and crew dates are being locked at this point.
When we had contacted Arbaaz earlier, the actor-filmmaker had said, “I will comment when I am sure of starting. Now, I’m concentrating on the script, etc. I’ll have a clear idea by the end of April.” And April, as everyone knows, is around the corner.
Asked about which aspect of Chulbul Pandey’s life Dabangg 3 will deal with, Salman, in an earlier interview, had said, “So, it’s about Chulbul Pandey now and then — what went on in his life before part one and two. The flashback will show how he became what he is. The remaining part will be about what he’s up to now.”
Our source also indicates that Dabangg 3 may actually release on December 9 because the actor wants to bring his cop drama two weeks before Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero. “SRK and Salman are close friends. And the latter doesn’t want the business of either film to be affected.”
It is common knowledge that he is also committed to start work on the second season of Dus Ka Dum and the first schedule of Bharat, which is produced by his sister Alvira alongwith her husband Atul Agnihotri and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Salman’s packed date schedule may see some changes if Dabangg 3 goes on floors 25 days hence, as it is rumoured to.
