CID leaked report to media: Swami Nithyananda

A day after the CID filed an additional chargesheet against Swami Nithyananda, the latter has alleged the investigating agency leaked information to the media. He said he would react to the fresh charges after he obtains a copy from the court. In an official release, Swami Nithyananda’s dhyaanpeetham said: “It has come to our notice that the CID has filed an additional chargesheet against Paramahamsa Nithyananda. We have applied for an official copy of the same, and are awaiting its receipt. We have also heard that there are attempts to leak the chargesheet to the media.

“You will appreciate that until we obtain a copy of the chargesheet, it will be impossible for us to clarify on the matter. Once we obtain a copy, we will hold a press meet to clarify matter,” said the release.
