Want to earn some quick money, that too legally? Then here's your chance to earn straight Rs 45,000 without doing anything by just sitting in the comfort of your home. You just have to possess an old one rupee note dating back to the years 1977-1979.

The only catch is that the old one rupee note should have the signature of the former principal secretary, ministry of finance, Hirubhai M Patel, who served his tenure in 1977-1979 under Prime Minister Morarji Desai. Morarji Desai had become the prime minister of India by defeated Indira Gandhi, leading to India's first non-Congress government of the time.

The one rupee note was introduced under the British Raj on November 30, 1917. Though the government of India and the Reserve Bank of India has stopped printing the one rupee note, still an old one rupee note can help you earn Rs 45,000.

Another important factor is that the one rupee note should have the serial number 123456. The one rupee currency can be sold at coinbazzar.in website.

You need to go to the 'Shop' section of the website. After going to the 'Note bundle' category, you will see the full details here.

"Extremely rare, For collectors, one rupee bundle 1957, signed by HM Patel, with jumbling number 123456," the website reads.

There is also a note on this online platform, which dates back to before India's independence and has been bid up to Rs 7 lakhs. Printing of one rupee note was discontinued in 1994 but was relaunched in 2015.
