Kajol is lending her voice to the character Helen Parr aka Elastigirl in The Incredibles 2 and the latest featurette for the movie showcases her skills.

Kajol's on-screen partner Shah Rukh Khan was the voice of Bob Parr aka Mr Incredible. His son Aryan did the voice over for Dash Parr in the Hindi version of Pixar's one of the most popular movies. Unfortunately, the Khans are not returning for the second instalment, but Kajol stepping in is that small connection that continues to give feels to the SRK-Kajol fandom.

In the 50-seconds-long featurette, Kajol talks about how important it is to have an 'incredible' life partner when one has to go out, be the superhero and save the world. Someone's gotta take care of the kids.

"The Incredibles 2 brings to us a heart-warming tale of a family that is like us. But yet they are different. There were so many moments in the story that I could relate with and I knew I had to join the fun," Kajol was quoted as saying by IANS.

She further added, "I am really excited to be a part of the family of Supers and contribute to this fun feature in my own special way."

Kajol is now part of the list of bigwigs who have voiced Hollywood characters. SRK was already there. Ranveer Singh was the voice of Deadpool in the second movie of the franchise. Before that, Rana Daggubati was the voice of villain Thanos in the Telugu version of Avengers: Infinity War. The list goes on. Tiger Shroff voiced Peter Parker in the Hindi version of Spider-Man: Homecoming, Varun Dhawan was Steve Rogers in Captain America: Civil War, Arshad Warsi was the voice of Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean.

Directed by Brad Bird, Incredibles 2 picks up right after the events of its predecessor, but for the audience, it has been a long wait of 13 years. The movie is set to release in India on June 22
