Students have been eagerly waiting for Delhi University (DU) to provide them with updates on the admission process for undergraduate courses. Students must note that the DU first cut-off list 2021 for undergraduate courses is set to be released soon by the varsity.

It is expected that Delhi University will be releasing the compiled DU first cut-off list 2021 for UG admissions on October 1, 2021. This year, the release of the cut-off list stands delayed due to the delay in Class 12 results and the COVID situation across the country.

With no board exams this year in most of the states across the country, it is expected that the cut-off percentages for DU will rise, as compared to last year. It is being speculated that the cut-off for BA courses in DU will go as high as 99.5 percent this year.

Though the compiled DU's first cut-off list 2021 has not been released yet, St. Stephen’s College has released the first cut-off list for undergraduate admissions on its official website on September 3, 2021. Check the subject-wise cut-offs below-

  • BA Programme: 99 percent

The detailed St. Stephen’s College cut-off list 2021 has been published on its website. Candidates who have scored the marks required for admissions can now enroll for their desired courses in the college.

After the first cut-off list is released by Delhi University on October 1, it is expected that the admissions against the first list will be conducted from October 4. Students must note that DU has not yet announced any final dates for the release of the first cut-off list yet.

There are around 64 colleges that participate in the DU admissions process, with over 64,000 seats available for undergraduate programmes this year. The seats are provided on a first come first serve basis and once released; candidates will be able to check the cut-off list on the official website of Delhi University, du.ac.in.
