Shah Rukh Khan recently made headlines when he visited his son Aryan Khan who is lodged at the Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai in connection with a drugs case. He was arrested by the NCB after the probe agency busted a cruise ship on October 2.

Amid Aryan Khan's ongoing drugs case, an old interview of Shah Rukh in which he can be heard saying 'My name could spoil their life and I don't want that to happen' is going viral on social media.

In a 2008 interview with a German TV channel, Shah Rukh had talked about his popularity and its impact on his children. He stated, "My biggest fear for my family in life especially my kids is that I hope they can live out of my shadow. My biggest fear is my fame onto them. I don't want them to ever fight that and say oh I'm better than my father and I don't want them to get completely engulfed by it that they don't need to do anything because they're my children.”

SRK further added, "But it's absolutely true that my name could spoil their lives and I don't want that. I would like to be known as their father I would not like them to be known as my children."

Even though the video is old, it is being shared on the internet as the Khan family is going through a tough time with Aryan Khan in jail.

In another throwback interview on 'Koffee With Karan’, SRK, while talking about his children had said, "The decision to have a child is the decision to let a piece of your heart walk outside your body. I compare my relationships with people this way. If a very close friend of mine was standing and there was a speeding car coming towards them, I would jump and push them out of the way. If suppose my wife or my sister were standing in front of that speeding car, I would 100% pull them out and not mind getting hurt in the process. If a car was speeding towards my children, I would stand in front of that car and I’m sure I will stop it."

Meanwhile, Chunky Panday's daughter Ananya Panday on Friday appeared before the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Mumbai. The actress was sent summons after her name appeared in WhatsApp chats of Mumbai drugs case accused Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan.
