Arjun Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor have made their first appearance together on a magazine cover after a few years of reconciliation.
After Sridevi's death, Arjun Kapoor and his half-sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor have reconciled. Arjun, as their brother, saw the need to help them through their terrible period and lent a helping hand.
Arjun Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor have made their first appearance together on a magazine cover after a few years of reconciliation. On the cover, the two can be seen looking amazing in white outfits.
While speaking to Bazaar magazine, Arjun and Janhvi revealed how their relationship has evolved.
"There were silences. We would meet, but there was no communication worth quantifying," Arjun said. Janhvi added, "I have learnt so much from my family. We have the same father, we have the same blood." Arjun teased her for her comment, "Glad you caught onto that."
Janhvi continued, "And that is something no-one can take away from us. It’s not like we go to each other’s homes every day, or know every little detail about each other’s lives. But I felt instant security with Arjun bhaiya and Anshula didi, a feeling of comfort. I wake up every day knowing that they always have my back, no matter what. And I can say this with more conviction about them than anyone else in my life."
In a recent clubhouse session, Arjun talked about how he feels when Janhvi calls him ‘bhaiya’ (brother).
“It sounds very strange. Anshula calls me ‘bhai’ in a very different manner. And now this ‘Arjun bhaiya’ is a very new thing. So, when Janhvi says that it sounds like very new to me.”
He further said, “I have never asked her to call me by any specific name. It comes to them very naturally.”
For the unversed, Arjun and Anshula Kapoor are Boney Kapoor's children from his first marriage. He was also married to Sridevi, who passed away in 2018. His two daughters from her are Janhvi and Khushi.
