A Twitterati claims that Ranbir was being totally careless of his vulgar behavior and completely disregarding the insult and embarrassment he’s inflicted on a woman
Ranveer Singh, who is riding high on success, suddenly found himself in the middle of a controversy with a video which went viral yesterday. The video was from his episode on Koffee With Karan with Anushka Sharma. The latest person to now come in news is Ranbir Kapoor, who is being called out for an outrageous remark he made on Katrina Kaif.
A Twitterati claims that the actor was being totally careless of his vulgar behavior and completely disregarding the insult and embarrassment he’s inflicted on a woman. The video dates back to the time when Ranbir and Katrina were promoting Rajneeti (which is also when their dating rumours were at apogee) where Ranbir asks, "Why does your mic keeps dropping?", adding "Do u need help in fixing it?" Katrina is then seen getting upset, to which Ranbir tells director Prakash Jha, "She keeps fighting all day sir."
Interestingly for this video, many people find it doctored since Katrina’s assistant appears out of the blue amidst their conversation. Apart from that, we noticed one more major fault. This video was shared by Ranveer Singh’s fan. For the uninitiated, Ranveer fans detest Ranbir and find every excuse to bash him on Twitter, and vice-versa.
Calling out Ranveer yesterday might have irked the fans to share this video and even though both the actors might be at fault, this is probably just a war between the fans, who are finding any instance to portray their idol in good light, while demeaning the other ones. In real life, contrasting to fan behavior, Ranveer and Ranbir are good friends and they have taken care of each other and their partners Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone at the occasions when it is needed. Ranveer recently protected his Gully Boy co-actress Alia from a crowd, setting a fine example of how two people should put up good nature ahead of what happened in the past.
It all began with Koffee With Karan, which has become the stage where controversies begin. The latest reason why the show is in news is because of cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul. Karan Johar wanted to introduce cricket celebrities on his show and thus, he opened the show for them with these two cricketers but ended up getting stirred in a controversy he probably did not see coming.
Hardik Pandya was accused of making sexist and mysognistic comments on the show and KL Rahul was also termed guilty for not stopping the cricketer from doing that. Both the celebrities have been asked to give a clarification before a decision will be made if they should be banned from playing cricket or not.
