The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) on Saturday will launch its 2021 housing scheme with nearly 1,350 flats on offer, mostly in the High-Income Group (HIG) and Middle-Income Group (MIG) categories.
Under the scheme, the processing of applications and possession of flats will be done through the newly developed AWAAS software of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA). The applications under the scheme will remain active till February 16, the DDA said.
The applicant will have to visit DDA only for the purpose of the execution deed. For detailed terms and conditions, once can visit www.dda.org.in.
The scheme was approved recently during an online meeting of the Authority, the highest decision-making body of the DDA, and it was chaired by Delhi Lt Governor and DDA Chairman Anil Baijal.
The scheme is linked to the credit-linked subsidy scheme under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Housing for All (Urban).
1. About 1,350 flats will be on offer under the scheme for various categories of flats, at locations, such as Dwarka, Jasola, Manglapuri, Vasant Kunj and Rohini.
2. Out of the total 1,350 flats, 230 are HIG in Dwarka and Vasant Kunj, and 704 are MIG category flats in Jasola and Dwarka.
3. The three-bedroom HIG flats in Jasola are priced at Rs 2.1 crore whereas the MIG ones will cost buyers around Rs 1.2 crore. Before this, the costliest DDA flats were worth Rs 1.7 crore in the HIG category and were sold in Vasant Kunj in 2019.
4. As many as 275 flats in Manglapuri, Dwarka, have been set aside for the economically weaker sections. The remaining are Low-Income Group category flats in Rohini.
After three consecutive unsuccessful housing schemes, DDA is hoping these spacious flats situated in well-connected areas of Delhi elicits a good response.
