Meeku Maathrame Cheptha: Vijay Deverakonda turns producer, announces his debut production, Watch

Popular south star Vijay Deverakonda, who shot to fame with Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial Arjun Reddy has now added another feather to his cap. The actor has turned a producer and has also announced the very first movie of his production house. 

The first film of Vijay Deverakonda's production house has been titled Meeku Maathrame Cheptha which roughly translates to 'I'll tell only you'. Director Tharun Bhascker is to essay the protagonist in the film. 

Vijay took to his Twitter page to make the announcement. He wrote sharing a video, "While we were finding itpainfully hard to break into the Industry and make a film, I decided.. The day I make it, I'll start a production house.."

He added in another tweet, "I realise how hard it is to do this and how risky but what is life without a challenge, so with most of my savings on the line I reveal to you King Of The Hill's 1st Production Title!"

Meanwhile, on the work front, Vijay Deverakonda is known for his performances in films like Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam. Both the movies earned a lot of appreciation. The actor recently appeared in Dear Comrade, which didn't live up to the expectations at the ticket windows. 

However, Vijay will next be seen in the film Hero, which marks the directorial debut of Anand Annamalai. The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The movie will also be the Telugu debut of Malavika Mohanan who'd previously appeared in Majid Majidi's Beyond The Clouds with Ishaan Khatter.
