MS Dhoni has been at his bets behind the wickets during the second ODI between India and Australia at the Adelaide Oval.

From guiding the spinners to asking for confident reviews, Dhoni has hardly put any foot wrong on Tuesday. He gave his fans a rush of nostalgia when he produced yet another lightning-fast stumping to make a dismissal and hand Ravindra Jadeja his first wicket of the day.

In the 28th over, Jadeja bowled one outside off to temp Peter Handscomb for a big hit. Getting carried away with the momentum, the Aussie attempted a slog-sweep but missed the contact. As he swung his bat, he dragged his foot outside the line and Dhoni behind the wickets finished the rest of the formalities and gifted Jadeja the must deserving wicket for the consistency he has shown on Tuesday.

Handscomb didn't wait for the final decision because he walked away even before the umpires checked with the third umpire for a final call.

Now, Dhoni has produced 18 stumpings off Jadeja's bowling - the second most after Dhoni's 19 stumpings off Harbhajan's bowling.

Excited fans exploded on Twitter reacting to Dhoni's stumping:

Earlier, Jadeja produced a brilliant run out with a stunning direct hit that dismissed set batsman Usman Khawaja.

In the 19th over, Khawaja pushed the third delivery of the over bowled by Kuldeep Yadav, to point, where Jadeja quickly moved across and shot a direct throw straight to the stumps on the bowler's end.

Earlier, Australia won the toss and asked India to bowl first in the second ODI on Tuesday.
