During one of the promotional events for 'Honsla Rakh', Shehnaaz Gill couldn't keep herself away from indirectly talking about Sidharth Shukla.
Singer-actress Shehnaaz Gill recently returned to work for the promotion of her film 'Honsla Rakh' after having dealt with a great personal loss following the demise of her close friend and rumoured boyfriend Sidharth Shukla. And after having stayed away from the media limelight for a while, the actress, who seems to be coping well with the tragedy, returned to work before her film hit theatres.
During one of the promotional events for the film, the 'Bigg Boss 13' fame contestant couldn't keep herself away from indirectly talking about Sidharth Shukla. During a discussion when Shehnaaz Gill and her 'Honsla Rakh' co-stars Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa were speaking about each other's shortcomings, the conversation steered towards Shehnaaz speaking about 'Bigg Boss 13'.
Speaking to DMZ about Diljit, Shehnaaz said, "He has a cool personality and I thought it will be fun to work with him. But he is very reserved and very professional. He doesn't let you enter into his comfort zone at first. I told him that the next time we work together, create that comfort zone with me. We don't talk and we are directly on camera and it is tough for me. If you talk first, it becomes easier."
About Sonam, Shehnaaz said that she's reserved and takes her time to open up to people. As Sonam agreed to Shehnaaz's observations about her, she stated that only a few people possess the quality to open up to other people easily, pointing towards Shehnaaz. Diljit then joked and added that he felt he was in 'Bigg Boss' to which Shehnaaz replied saying 'it was the real test'. "This is why I was the queen, I was the heroine of Bigg Boss 13," Shehnaaz said. When Sonam called her the hero, Shehnaaz immediately interjected and said, "I was the heroine of Bigg Boss, hero koi aur tha (hero was someone else)" indirectly referring to Sidharth Shukla.
Sidharth and Shehnaaz's chemistry and their bond on 'Bigg Boss 13' was the talk of the town back in the day. After the duo ended their stint on the show, they had become extremely popular as a jodi and fans shipped them as #SidNaaz. While fans believed that the two were madly and deeply in love with each other, neither Shehnaaz nor Sidharth ever confirmed dating each other.
Meanwhile, late Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill's unfinished music video will be released soon. Sung by famous Bollywood singer Shreya Ghoshal, music label Saregama recently announced that they had changed the music video's title from 'Habit' to 'Adhura'. However, disappointed #SidNaaz fans demanded that the title should not be changed and that the sentiments of the fans should be considered by the makers. And finally, the makers did give in and changed the title of the music video back to 'Habit'. The song will be out on October 21.
