On 10 September, celebrated as World Suicide Prevention Day, television actor Karanvir Bohra, took to Twitter to announce an mental health awareness initiative he had undertaken in the name of his late friend, Kushal Punjabi.

Kushal Punjabi died by suicide on December 26, 2019, and had left a suicide note behind.

However, while making the announcement, he wrongly tagged Bebaakee actor Kushal Tandon instead of Kushal Punjabi's now defunct Twitter account.

Taking to Twitter, the Naagin actor wrote, "And I'm glad that @reenajabran and I started on day like today #SuicidePreventionDay . I loved #KushalTandon so much. Wud like to mention #chetanhansraj & @MeetBrosHarmeet too,v thought of starting something like this & each of us r doing r bit4 a cause like #SuicideAwareness (sic)."

Responding to this and clarifying that Karanvir had tagged the wrong account, actor Kushal Tandon wrote, "Main zinda hoon I am not dead (sic)."

Later, Karanvir apologised and accepted his mistake, clarifying that it was a 'typo'. He wrote, "Sorry not #KushalTandon but #kushalpunjabi .....typo (sic)."

Kushal Tandon, who is seen on Zee5's original series Bebaakee, is garnering a lot of praise for his acting skills in the show.

Meanwhile, Karanvir Bohra and wife Teejay Sidhu are all set to welcome their third child after the duo made the announcement a couple of weeks ago. The two are already blessed with twins Bella and Vienna.
