Seema Haider, a Pakistani national who crossed the border illegally to be with her Indian lover Sachin Meena, raised the Tricolor on Sunday, expressing the nation's enthusiasm in advance of Independence Day. Seema, who is from the Sindh region of Pakistan, attended the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' event at her Noida home with her attorney, AP Singh.

In a video making rounds on social media, Pakistani national Seema Haider was seen chanting "Pakistan murdabad (Down with Pakistan)," revealing her vocal disapproval of her country of origin.

Ashutosh Dubey, Head of BJP Maharashtra Social Media, shared the video from his official X (formerly Twitter) account.

This came after Seema Haider received a warning over her Bollywood debut from a member of Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) party. The threat was made despite rumours that Seema Haider was busy shooting for her film, 'Karachi to Noida,' going to be made by Amit Jani, the Noida-based movie producer.

The couple has clarified that they are not going ahead with the Bollywood offer.

Seema Haider, who was wearing a tricolour sari and a headband bearing the words "Jai Mata Di," chanted the well-known "Vande Mataram" as her husband Sachin Meena stood next to her.

The identity of Seema Haider has been connected to allegations of illegal border crossing and residency in India. Her "love story" with Sachin has received a lot of media coverage. At the same time, she is allegedly an "ISI agent," according to certain allegations.
