South director AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary's viral video kissing Priyanka Chopra's sister, actress Mannara Chopra leaves netizens furious.
Priyanka Chopra’s cousin Mannara Chopra is currently promoting her upcoming film Thiragabadara Saami. A video of the actress getting ‘uncomfortable’ after South director AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary kissed her on the cheeks went viral on social media.
On Tuesday, the video of South Indian director AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary kissing Mannara Chopra on the cheeks went viral on social media leaving netizens furious. In the video, Mannara can be seen wearing a pink saree and posing with the director for the paps as she stepped out to promote her upcoming film. The director first pulled her closer to pose with her and then gave a peck on her cheeks. The actress was taken by surprise and netizens felt she looked uncomfortable.
Netizens slammed the director for his behavior. One of the comments read, “How embarrassing it would have been for her.” Another wrote, “Sexual harassment right there. She might be blushing and making all the right moves but internally she would feel cringy," Another user commented, “What a creep? Industry must identify budding #MeToo creeps and not let them grow into Vairamuthus. Until you sort your house in order, you are unfit to preach to the public in your films.” Another comment read, “She was feeling embarrassed.”
This is not the first time such an incident happened. Earlier, cinematographer Chota K Naidu kissed Kajal Aggarwal on stage and the photos from the event went viral on social media with netizens slamming Chota K Naidu for his step.
Mannara Chopra will be seen in Thiragabadara Saami. Helmed by AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary, the movie also stars Raj Tarun and Makarand Deshpande will be seen playing the villain in the movie. Recently, Dil Raju released the teaser of the film which caught everyone’s attention.
Mannara Chopra is the cousin of Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra. The actress made her debut with the 2014 Telugu film Prema Geema Jantha Nai. She has also starred in Bollywood movies like Zid and Fugly and was last seen in 2019 film Sita.
