Unknown to most, actress Mahima Chowdhury suffers from a phobia of speeding vehicles. In her own admission, Mahima is almost paranoid about getting hit by a speeding car on the road.

Chowdhury recently agreed to take part in a reality show that deals with past life regression interpretations because she feels very disturbed about Tacophobia taking over her life.

The channel confirmed Chowdhury’s phobia and said that she had also confessed that she doesn’t let her kid go to school if for some reason she can’t accompany her.

“In her personal life, Chowdhury has been quite disturbed with her paranoia over speeding cars. Her fear with speeding cars is so deep that she lets her three-year-old old daughter miss school if she  cannot go and pick her up personally due to her busy schedule,” said a channel spokesperson.

Chowdhury, through the channel, also confessed about the phobia but didn’t want to reveal more than what she has already has.

Close friends of the actress also confirmed that Chowdhury gets paranoid if she sees speeding cars around her or even if the car that she is travelling in starts zooming ahead.

“Chowdhury gets very hyper if she sees a speeding car on the road. All her close friends know about this and luckily for her, most of them support her in this. So you won’t find anyone trying to speed if Chowdhury is inside the car,” says a friend of the actress.

According to the past life regression expert Dr Trupti Jayin, during regression, Mahima found herself in a place called Ghoom in West Bengal in 1942. She was a teacher and lived happily with her family comprising of her parents and younger brother.

“Life was quite smooth sailing for her until one day when Chowdhury while driving downhill with her family met with a fatal accident. Her death in her past life was so sudden that she didn’t even feel the pain before she died,” said a statement about the results of the analysis.

Chowdhury’s supposed tragic death is the reason behind her phobia according to the expert. We do hope that she gets a grip over it though!
