TNEA 2019: Rank List to be released today, check @ tneaonline.in

Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) 2019 rank list will be released today i.e., June 20, 2019, by the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Technical Education(TNEA) on its official website.

The link of the TNEA 2019 list will be activated in a while on the official website of the board tneaonline.in.Previously, the TNEA 2019 rank list was supposed to release on June 17, 2019, but it got postponed.

"We had earlier scheduled to release the rank list on June 17. It is now postponed to June 20 as we wanted to give another chance to the aspirants, who could not produce the required education certificates on time for the verification process," said Tamil Nadu Higher Education Minister K P Anabalagan.

Between May 2 and May 31, the registration for TNEA was conducted. The authorities verify educational certificates of the applications in 46 centers across the state between June 7 and 13, he said.

"This year 1,33, 166 students, who have completed Class 12, had registered for TNEA. Among them, 1,04, 418 applicants took part in the certificate verification process, compared to 98,000 out of the 1.59 lakh applications in the previous academic year. So, 78.4% of the total registered applicants came for the verification this year against 61.6% last year," Anbalagan said.

The candidates are required to apply for admission based on the seat allotment after the TNEA 2019 rank list is declared.
