Opening up a golden opportunity for all the young children who are about to enter school, the city’s premiere school Mount Litera School International (MLSI),  has now opened its admissions from preschool to Class 10.

The school, with its remarkable infrastructure and international teaching standards is currently in the process of admitting new students. “We began the admissions for the new academic year on November 1 and the seats are filling fast. The school allows parents to take a tour of the campus on Wednesdays and Fridays. After this, we have an interaction with the child and the parents to understand the needs of the child. We have a wide variety of students coming to us- from across the globe. These interactions make the entire admission process smooth for parents as well as the school,” said David Udry, Head of School.

MLSI is set to join the elite club of schools as it is in the process of getting authorisations for becoming a complete IB school. It currently runs the Primary Year Programme(PYP) and Middle year programme(MYP) and would soon get the authorisation to run the IBDP programme for class XI and XII. “We are happy to announce that the process of authorising our IBDP programme is on and we would be able to start our first IBDP batch in the academic year 2019-2020. We are happy that the school is set to become one of the very few schools who have a full IB authorisation” said Udry.

The school is probably the only one in the city to offer an on campus squash court. Apart from that, it also has a dedicated lego room where children can fiddle with lego, a pottery studio with a kiln and a jungle gym. Udry said that unlike some other schools that focus on fact based learning, MLSI aims to impart visible learning. “We want students to learn through communications, collaborations and creative thinking and not merely through books. Our school treats each and every student as an individual first which makes the whole teaching-learning process both fun and enriching. The school also encourages students to celebrate diversity by celebrating all festivals- from Diwali to Id. In the days to come, we plan to make the school just like the city is- full of diversity.”
