The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is inviting applications to fill multiple vacancies. The job posts will be open for apply from October 1 and the deadline to register is October 14, 2021.

Vacancies: The posts for which applications have been invited are:

• Assistant Professor Statistics
• Faculty Research Associate
• Research Associate
• Hindi Officer
• IT Engineer (Data Centre)
• IT Database Administrator
• Software Developer
• Tester (Frontend, Backend)

The selection process is expected to take place in either October or November 2021. The process will involve written exams and interviews.

The appointment of successful candidates will happen against the existing openings. IBPS will also release a waitlist that will stay valid till March 31, next year.

Application fee: Candidates will have to submit an application fee of Rs 1000. The payment can be done via debit, credit cards, net banking and other services.

Selection process: The selection process for each post will consist of a written exam. Qualifying candidates will then proceed to the interview round. During the interview round, qualifying candidates will be required to produce all the documents as mentioned in the official notification.

Salary: The official remuneration for the different posts are:

• Assistant professor: Rs 1,66,541
• Faculty research associate: Rs 98,651
• Research associate: Rs 74,203
• Hindi officer: Rs 74,203
• IT engineer (data centre): Rs 59,478
• IT database administrator: Rs 59,478
• Software developer and tester (frontend, backend): Rs 59,478.

Eligibility criteria

Assistant Professor

• Education qualification: PhD or equivalent degree in Statistics with at least 55% in postgraduation.
• Minimum experience in relevant field: 5 years
• Age: 32 to 45 years

Faculty Research Associate

• Education qualification: PhD or equivalent degree in any either Industrial Psychology, Organisational Psychology, Educational Measurement, Psychological Measurement, Psychometrics or HR with at least 55% marks in postgraduation.
• Age: 27 to 40 years

Research Associate

• Education qualification: Postgraduation in Psychology/ Education/ Psychological Measurement/ Psychometrics/ Management with specialisation in HR with minimum of 55% marks in graduation.
• Experience: Preferably one year in academic research
• Others: Competency in operating computer
• Age: 21 to 30 years

Hindi Officer

• Education qualification: Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a major from recognised university or vice versa.
• Experience: One year must in the relevant field
• Age: 21 to 30 years

IT Engineer (Data Centre)

• Education qualification: Full-time BE/BTech, preferably in Computer science/IT from recognised university.
• Experience: 3 years must in relevant field
• Age: 21 to 35 years

IT Database Administrator

• Education qualification: Full time BE/ BTech /MCA /MSC (IT) /MSC (Computer Science) from recognised university.
• Experience: 3 years must in the relevant field
• Age: 21 to 35 years

Software Developer and Tester (Frontend, Backend)

• Education qualification: Full time BE/ BTech /MCA /MSC (IT) /MSC (Computer Science) from recognised university
• Experience: 3 years in relevant field
• Age: 21 to 35 years
