Andhra Pradesh Postal Circle GDS Recruitment 2021 has started the online application process for recruitment to the various posts of Gramin Dak Sevak. Desirous and eligible candidates can apply to the posts through the online mode at appost.in
Around 3,679 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment process. Candidates holding the required qualification can apply to the posts before 26 February 2021.
The submission of the online application started on January 27 and will last till February 26, 2021. Interested candidates can apply for Brand Post Manager (BPM)/ Assistant Branch Post Master(ABPM)/ Gramin Dak Sevak, these posts come under 3679 vacancies.
Eligibility Criteria for AP Postal Circle GDS Recruitment 2021:
Candidates are required to present Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics, the local language, and English by any recognized board of school Education by the Government of India/state.
"Knowledge of Cycling is a pre-requisite condition for all GDS posts. In the case of a candidate having knowledge of riding a scooter or motorcycle, that may be considered as knowledge of cycling. The candidate has to submit a declaration to this effect," the India Post has said in the job notice.
The age limit is 18 to 40 years ( Reserved category candidate will have age relaxation)
Selection Criteria:
Selection will be based on the automatically generated merit list.
"This inter alia means that a prospective candidate can apply for twenty posts on a single application spread across one circle or several circles. This cap of twenty posts is inclusive of vacancies arising in the candidate's home circle," the India Post added.
