Nisha Jagtiani is the Group Director of the Landmark Group, a leading retail and hospitality conglomerate, which has its operations in over 20 countries and has 2,300 stores in the Middle East, Africa and India. Nisha Jagtiani is currently serving on the Board of the Landmark Group which has a revenue of USD 9.5 billion (over Rs 78,000 crore). Nisha oversees the strategic vision for home-grown brand Lifestyle. Besides being on Landmark Group’s Board and leading the company’s retail leadership, Nisha Jagtiani also heads Human Resources, Communications, and CSR for the Group.
Nisha Jagtiani is alumnus of King’s College, London and has also done a Business Leadership Programme from Harvard Business School. She is also a board member for the Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation.
Nisha Jagtiani is the daughter of Micky Jagtiani, who was one of the richest Indian in Dubai. Micky Jagtiani, who died on May 23, 2023, has an inspiring rags-to-riches story where he started out as a taxi driver and a hotel cleaner but worked very hard to set up a multi-billion dollar business empire. Mukesh ‘Micky’ Jagtiani went to school in Chennai and Mumbai before moving to Middle East and then London where he eventually dropped out of school and drove a taxi make ends meet. In 1973, Micky took over a baby products shop in Bahrain and then expanded his business to become a billionaire businessman.
Micky’s wife Renuka is the CEO of Landmark Group. Nisha’s siblings Aarti and Rahul Jagtiani are all part of the core leadership and manage different aspects of Landmark Group. Landmark Group is a well-known name in retail sector in India too and is competing with Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Retail and Tata Group’s Trent. Landmark Group sells apparel, footwear, consumer electronics, cosmetics & beauty products, etc and has also invested in hospitality and healthcare sectors.
