Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar made a major goof-up in regards to politics this Sunday. Farhan asked the Bhopal electorates to use their franchise and choose the right leader for their city but the actor's tweet came in a little too late as Bhopal had already caste its vote a week back.
Farhan, in a strong, hard-hitting tweet for Bhopal, wrote, "Dear electorate of Bhopal, it’s time for you to save your city from another full-of-gas tragedy. #SayNoToPragya #SayNoToGodse #RememberTheMahatma #ChooseLoveNotHate"

What was to happen next? Farhan, who is currently in news for his upcoming wedding with Shibani Dandekar, was burtally trolled for sending his message to Bhopal in the form of a tweet after a week of them already casting their vote for their upcoming leader.

Today however Madhya Pradesh's city Indore is casting its vote. Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, cast its vote on May 12. On the work front, Farhan Akhtar had recently mentioned that he has a special announcement to make. It was being assumed that the filmmaker would revive Don 3 for Shah Rukh Khan, however it looks like the film isn't happening any time soon. Meanwhile Farhan will soon be seen in Shonali Bose's The Sky Is Pink alongside Priyanka Chopra, and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Toofan.
