When Deepika Padukone expressed regret and dropped fairness creams, colas' endorsements from her kitty

After endorsing fairness creams in the past, several celebrities have regretted and disassociated from the brand eventually. During several media interactions, when these actors were quizzed about it, they had expressed their regret and called it as a lesson learnt. Now, Deepika Padukone, who had not only endorsed a fairness cream, she had also been a brand ambassador for a cola drink. The actor, however, dissociated herself from these brands and is very selective about the brand she endorses.

Talking about the same, a source had said, "Not only did Deepika accept these mistakes and expressed her regret over it in the past, but with the same realisation, the actress had also sprung into action and dropped those categories (fairness creams and colas) from her kitty."

Earlier during an interaction, when Deepika was asked about her skincare rituals, the actor had stated, "I don't follow any routine as such. I just make sure I use a good night cream and always take off my make-up."

About her fitness regime, the actor had also said, "Regular exercise, yoga, healthy eating and positive thinking; are what make me look good."

While her fitness trainer, Yasmin Karachiwala had shared, "Deepika has already been pulling off 200 pounds for leg press, but there will be a lot more heavyweight training, besides bosu (exercise routines involving a ball) and TRX suspension training. She needs to look tough like someone who is always ready for a fight and needs to gain more muscle."
