After the huge success of OMG 2, Akshay Kumar is all set to enthrall the fans once again with his upcoming movie Mission Raniganj. The makers recently released the teaser of the film and left fans excited for the movie.
On Thursday, Akshay Kumar took to his Instagram to share an intriguing teaser of his and Parineeti Chopra-starrer Mission Raniganj. The teaser gives a glimpse of Bharat’s biggest rescue mission that saved the lives of 65 miners trapped in a flooded coal field. The teaser gives a glimpse of Jaswant Singh Gill (played by Akshay Kumar)’s heroic tale of saving lives with his courage and determination. The actor captioned the post, "In 1989, one man showed courage and conviction that saved lives! #MissionRaniganjTeaser is out now. Watch the story of Bharat’s true hero with #MissionRaniganj in cinemas on 6th October."

Set to hit cinemas on October 6th, 2023, the film is inspired by a real-life incident at Raniganj Coalfield and by the heroic act of Late Shri Jaswant Singh Gill who led Bharat's coal mine rescue mission. The heroic Jaswant Singh Gill (portrayed by Akshay Kumar) played a significant role in rescuing all the surviving miners trapped inside a flooded coal mine in Raniganj in November 1989 which is said to be the world's largest and successful rescue mission against all odds.
Helmed by Tinu Suresh and produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Ajay Kapoor, the film also stars Parineeti Chopra, Ravi Kishan, Kumud Mishra, Rajesh Sharma, and others in key roles and will be released in theaters on October 6, 2023.
