Kangana Ranaut thanks Anurag Kashyap and Hansal Mehta for praising her talent.
Kangana Ranaut is currently awaiting the release of her upcoming movie Chandramukhi 2. Meanwhile, filmmakers Anurag Kashyap and Hansal Mehta heaped praise on the actor for her talent and her performances over the year in interviews. Reacting to the same, the actress thanked them and called herself ‘Batman’.
In an interview with Jist, Anurag Kashyap heaped praise on Kangana Ranaut and said, “She is one of the finest actors. She is very sincere when it comes to work, there are other problems that she has. However, when it comes to her talent, nobody can snatch that away from her. What she has in herself, as an actor, as a sincere creative person also, nobody can take that away from her but yes, it is very difficult to deal with her.”
Hansal Mehta in an interview with Aaj Tak talked about how talented Kangana Ranaut is and heaped praise on her performances over the year. In the video which is now going viral on social media, the filmmaker can be heard saying, “Adaakar matlab kamaal hai. Hindustan main shayad kam actresses aayi ho jaise Kangana hai. Jo unhone kaam kiya hai past main, voh bohot accha kaam kiya hai. Simran mein, matlab voh film bhale hi thodi weak thi, lekin uss film main Kangana ke performance ko aap nahi fault kar sakte ho (She is an excellent actor. We haven’t seen too many actors like Kangana in our country. The work she has done in the past is very impressive. In Simran as well, even though the film may have been a bit weak, you cannot fault Kangana’s performance).”
He added, “Lekin voh respect as an artist main kabhi nahi kho sakta hoon kisi ke liye. Voh artist bohot acchi hai aur main hamesha yeh maintain karta hoon (She is a very good artist, and I always maintain that, and I can’t lose my respect for her artistry).” Now reacting to Anurag Kashyap and Hansal Mehta’s praises, Kangana Ranaut shared the video on her Instagram story and wrote, “Thank you so much.”
In another story, the actress further wrote, “Yeh baat pe sab agree karte hain left right both wings. 1) ek toh main bahut badtmeez hoon. 2) violent and extremist bhi hoon, I like violence, and violence also likes me. 3) thodi bigadi hue aur bahut ziddi hoon. 4) aur bhayankar wali talented. Matlab G.O.A.T types. Isko kehte hain Batman.. wahi hoon main (whether it’s left or right wings, both agree to the thing that 1) I am very rude 2) I am violent and extremist 3) a little spoiled and very stubborn 4) and very talented. G.O.A.T types. This is called Batman…and that is who I am.”
Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut who is currently awaiting the release of her upcoming movie Chandramukhi 2 with Raghava Lawrence, also has Tejas in the pipeline which is scheduled to hit the theatres on October 20. The actress also has her self-directional Emergency in the pipeline which also stars Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, and Satish Kaushik among others in key roles, and is scheduled to hit the theatres on November 24.
