Anurag Kashyap and Kangana Ranaut have often spoken about the ideological and political differences that they share with each other. In a recent interview, while promoting his latest film Haddi in which he is playing an antagonist, Kashyap heaped praises on the multiple National Award-winning actress.

The Jist interview also had Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, who plays suppporting actor in Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starred Haddi and its director Akshat Ajay Sharma. The Gangs of Wasseypur director added, "She is one of the finest actors. She is very sincere when it comes to work, there are other problems that she has. Meanwhile, Kashyap is awaiting the release of his next directorial Kennedy, which premiered at Cannes this year. The neo-noir crime drama features Rahul Bhat and Sunny Leone in the leading roles.
