Riteish Deshmukh reacts to pregnancy rumours of wife Genelia Deshmukh.
Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh are one of the most loved couples in Bollywood. The couple was recently seen attending an event where they sparked pregnancy rumours. Now, the actor has finally reacted to the rumours.
On Saturday, Genelia and Riteish were seen attending an event together. The actress was seen wearing a short purple dress but what grabbed attention was when she held her belly while posing for the paps. As soon as the video surfaced on the internet, fans speculated that she was pregnant with their 3rd baby. One of the comments read, “Is she pregnant? Looks like it.” Another wrote, “Good news on the way.”
Now, reacting to the rumours, Riteish Deshmukh took to his Instagram and while sharing the screenshot of a post speculating Genelia’s pregnancy and wrote, “I wouldn’t mind having 2-3 more, but unfortunately, this is untrue."
Genelia Deshmukh and Riteish Deshmukh tied the knot in February 2012 and welcomed their first child Riaan in November 2014 and in June 2016 their second son, Rahyl was born. The actress’ absence from movies post-marriage is questioned several times. Recently in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, the actress said, “I am sure. People say what they want to say but the truth of the matter is that I decided. Till date… people say ‘Why don’t you do so much more work?’ I don’t feel I can do so much work but I feel I still enjoy that whole part of being with my kids.”
Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh have worked in quite a lot of films together. They were last seen in the movie Ved which also starred Jiya Shankar and Ashok Saraf among others. Made on a reported budget of Rs 10 crore, the movie went on to be a blockbuster and collected Rs 73 crore worldwide at the box office.
