Arjun Rampal had kickstarted the shoot of the upcoming ZEE5 original titled Nail Polish. The actor had announced the same on his social media pages by writing, "So good to be back to work. Wait for this one it knocked my socks off. Pray for our health. However, now Arjun took to his Instagram page and revealed that both Manav Kaul and Anand Tiwari has been tested positive for coronavirus.
Rampal posted a selfie of quarantining himself and wrote, "Bummer quarantined at home, as my co actors #ManavKaul and #AnandTiwari tested Covid positive yesterday on set. Production stopped shoot immediately as is the right thing to do. We all are being retested. Hopeful to resume soon. Testing times but we all have to be brave. Wish them a speedy recovery as I await my results as have been in close contact with them. #nailpolish #willbounceback #fighters #fingerscrossed #zee5."
Meanwhile, Arjun's last movie outing was Paltan which released in 2018. In the film, the actor played the role of Lt. Col. Rai Singh Yadav, CO 2 Grenadiers. The movie was helmed by JP Dutta.
Arjun also made his web debut last year with ZEE5 original show titled The Final Call. The show is helmed by Vijay Lalwani and is based on the book I Will Go with You: The Flight of a Lifetime by Priya Kumar. The Final Call also starred Neeraj Kabi, Sakshi Tanwar, Harshad Arora‚ Anupriya Goenka, Javed Jaffrey, Paula McGlynn, Anshuman Malhotra and Vipin Sharma in pivotal roles.
