In any country, independent films and short films should be supported and I am very thankful to Jio Cinema that they are doing this. We have dedicated the film to photojournalist Danish Siddiqui who worked for an international news portal. It was 2021 when he was killed while. So when Mihir came to with this story, I was very impressed with his dedication, and his preparedness, and I'll be very honest with you, I wanted to support him and be there for him. This industry has done a lot for me, fans love me so much, so sometimes I feel we need to give back also by playing this character and I really had fun. I also got to know more about photojournalists and in full honesty, I did this movie for Mihir and the reason I did is I found it to be very nice. Thought-provoking short film.”

When asked if he met photojournalists to prepare for his role in the short film, the actor replied, “No, my character was inspired by Danish Siddiqui, so when you are inspired by a photojournalist, you don’t have to look at someone else. We had a lot of information, Mihir had shared a lot of information with me about Danish, what a humanitarian he was, he had a lot of humanity and he loved children. We have kind of brought up all those aspects about him and that’s why we dedicated the film to him and all other photojournalists.”

Life is not easy and movie-making is not easy, so we just had to go and do our job. The day you go when you don’t have food in your tummy is challenging. To go and shoot with so many people taking care of you, there is no challenge. As actors, we are very pampered, so we just go and do our job, there is no drama.”
