Lenovo-owned Motorola is to unveil their latest smartphone duo, the Moto G4 and G4 Plus at a global launch event in New Delhi.

Even though Motorola hasn't officially revealed any details about the smartphone, Specs for both phones were leaked online, from a benchmark listing for the fourth-generation Moto G.

A benchmark from Geekbench earlier today outlines the hardware components in the Moto G4. If it’s accurate the Moto G4 packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core processor, which is either the new 1.7GHz Snapdragon 615 or 1.5GHz Snapdragon 617, judging by the MSM8952 motherboard. That would also summarily include an Adreno 405 GPU. It also denotes 3GB of RAM, as opposed to earlier leaks that listed only 2GB, and that the phone is running Android 6.0.1.

In addition, we’ve heard in the past that the Moto G4 will feature 16GB internal storage and a 13MP rear camera. Of course, earlier rumours might still hold, and we could be looking at a 2GB RAM 16GB storage G4, with a 3GB/32GB G4 Plus. The G4 Plus is also expected to have an integrated fingerprint scanner. Judging by those stats, and seeing as the Moto G3 is currently selling at Rs 9,999 we can estimate the phones will likely be in the Rs 15,000 - Rs 20,000 range.

You can watch the live unveiling of the smartphones on Motorola India’s official YouTube channel at 3pm (Today) May 17th, 2016.
