The content creator, Heer Khan, based out of Khulbad in Prayagraj, was arrested by police officials on August 24 after she sparked a controversy on social media for making derogatory remarks against Hindu gods and goddesses. The police recovered laptops, mobile phones, pen drives from her.

In her video rant, the Youtuber could be heard making objectionable and abusive comments against Hindu deities.
