Sanjay Dutt signs one more film before heading to jail

Sanjay Dutt signed yet another film a few days back before heading for jail. This, apart from films like ‘Aladdin and the Mystery of the Lamp’, which has already been announced and ‘Kidnap’, which is still under production.

“Sanjay is a great actor and has a superb comic timing. You will know this if you have seen ‘Dhamaal’ and ‘Munna Bhai’,” says Ajay, justifying his choice for Sanjay Dutt.

“He is a wonderful person and a great friend. I am sure that he will get justice,” added the director, optimistic that Sanjay won’t have to go for a long jail term. The film titled ‘Chatur Singh Two Star’ is being produced by Ajay Chandok. Dutt had earlier worked in Ajay’s ‘Nehlle Pe Dehlla’. ‘Chatur Singh Two Star’ is at the pre-production stage and will be a comedy.

Ajay Chandok is best known for his film ‘Nehlle Pe Dehlla’, which also starred Saif Ali Khan, Bipasha Basu and Kim Sharma. This film, however, was a disaster at the box-office. But Chandok is hoping for better times soon.

“I can’t tell you anything else about the film as we are still working on it,” he said.  He is also hopeful that two of his much delayed films, ‘Kisse Pyaar Karoon’ and ‘Team - the Force’, would be released by the year end. 

“Both the films will be released by this year,” said an excited Ajay. Well, even if they might not be hits, the mere release of the films should be quite a morale-booster for this director.
