UP Board Exam 2021 latest updates: Practical Exams to begin from THIS date, date sheet for main exams expected in a few

In a good news for lakhs of students of Class 10, 12 in Uttar Pradesh, the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council on Wednesday (January 27) declared the dates for the practical exams of Class 10 and 12. The practical exams will be conducted from February 3 to 22 in two stages. It is learnt that the exams will be conducted under strict CCTV surveillance. 

In the first stage, UP Board practical exams will be conducted in Agra, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Faizabad, Azamgarh, Devipatan and Basti divisions. While in the second stage, the exams will be conducted in Aligarh, Meerut, Moradabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi and Gorakhpur divisions.

The UP Board noted that all necessary COVID-19 guidelines and social distancing norms will be followed while conducting UP Board Intermediate Practical Exams. The UP Board also noted that no cheating will be allowedin any exam centre this year.

Earlier, Uttar Pradesh deputy chief minister had said that the UP board 12th exam date 2021 and UP Board 10th exam date 2021 would be announced between April to May this year. 

It is to be noted that the UP Board has reduced the syllabus of Class 10, 12 exams by 30 per cent for the benefits of students. The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has already released the new UP Board Syllabus 2020-21 at the official website of UPMSP at upmsp.edu.in. The UP Board has suggested the students to check the respective syllabus of class 9th to 12th on official website and prepare for the exam accordingly.

The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council has also released the list of centres for high school and intermediate board examinations for 2020-21. A total 139 centres will be used for the exam purpose in Lucknow. These centres include 16 state, 77 aided and 46 private schools.

It may be recalled that 112 exam centres were set up for board exams in 2020, but this time the number of centres has increased to 139 due to COVID-19 pandemic.

The UP Board has also issued the helpline numbers for students for the preparation of three subjects of class 12 board exams. The students of Class 12 can raise their query on subjects such as physics, chemistry and biology by calling the mobile number 9415664679 from 12pm to 3 pm.
