Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya was at his best against Rajasthan Royals as he broke the middle stump, with his run-out against Sanju Samson. First, Hardik played a crucial knock of 87* off 52 balls to help his side post a huge target, and then he was on song in the field as well, inflicting a brilliant run out to cut short Samson's inning. 

The skipper was simply at his best against Rajasthan Royals. Not only did he score 87 runs for his side, but Hardik also inflicted a brilliant run out, he took a wicket and a catch as well. 

Pandya's all-round abilities were on display as he contributed in every manner possible to help Gujarat Titans strangle the Royals slowly and steadily.

Perhaps one of the moments of the match was when Hardik Pandya inflicted a run out on Sanju Samson, and such was his precision from the throw that the ball struck the middle stump and it appeared as if the stump broke down in two.

Talking about the match, Hardik's Gujarat Titans were asked to bat first by Sanju Samson who won the toss and chose to field first. Despite getting off to a shaky start, the Titans were reeling at 53/3 when the skipper came out to bat and changed the complexion of the game completed.

Hardik remained not out, and was excellently supported by the likes of Abhinav Manohar (43 off 28) and later, David Miller joined the party, scoring 31 off 14 balls. 

Chasing a huge total of 193 runs, Rajasthan began brilliantly, but lost wickets at consecutive intervals, and thus weren't successful in their attempts to chase the target.
