The International Council of Cricket (ICC) has released the revised schedule of the much-anticipated ODI World Cup 2023, which shows that the India vs Pakistan match has been rescheduled. The fresh date of the IND vs PAK world cup match is now October 14.

Earlier, the date of India vs Pakistan match of the ICC World Cup 2023 was October 15, but the new fixtures released have preponed the match by one day. Apart from this, eight other matches in the world cup have been rescheduled.

The India vs Pakistan match will be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, and the ticket sale for the ODI World Cup 2023 is set to commence soon. ICC has also revealed the reason behind rescheduling multiple matches in the ODI World Cup this year.

Earlier, the ICC and the BCCI had approached the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for rescheduling two of its group matches for the world cup being hosted by India, one of which being India vs Pakistan match. The IND vs PAK match is now on October 14.

The reason behind rescheduling the highly anticipated India vs Pakistan match is the festival of Navratri. Due to issues with regards to the deployment of security on the first day of the Navratri festival in Ahmedabad, the match has been preponed by one day.

While the dates of the matches have been changed, the venue of the same remains untouched. Here are the dates of the rescheduled cricket matches in the ICC World Cup 2023.

  • October 10: England vs Bangladesh – Dharamsala – 10:30 AM
  • October 10: Pakistan vs Sri Lanka – Hyderabad – 2:00 PM
  • October 12: Australia vs South Africa – Lucknow – 2:00 PM
  • October 13: New Zealand vs Bangladesh – Chennai – 2:00 PM
  • October 14: India vs Pakistan – Ahmedabad – 2:00 PM
  • October 15: England vs Afghanistan – Delhi – 2:00 PM
  • November 11: Australia vs Bangladesh – Pune – 10:30 AM
  • November 11: England vs Pakistan – Kolkata – 2:00 PM
  • November 12: India vs Netherlands – Bengaluru – 2:00 PM
