After Chandramukhi 2, Kangana Ranaut's next release, Tejas, is geared up for a mega theatrical release. The intriguing stills shared by the actress from the movie have left filmgoers excited. The makers will reportedly unveil its first teaser on the upcoming national holiday.
Kangana Ranaut will be seen portraying the role of an Air Force pilot in Tejas Gill. The film is scheduled to hit the big screens on October 20 and the makers will reportedly unveil its first teaser on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, October 2. As per a source close to the production, Tejas's first asset teaser will be released on October 2. Written and Directed by Sarvesh Mewara, Tejas features Kangana Ranaut in the lead role.
A few days earlier, netizens suggested that Kangana's Tejas should be renamed Uri 2. For the unversed, Uri 2 is inspired by the 2018 blockbuster action thriller Uri: The Surgical Strike. Kangana's Tejas is touted to be an action thriller celebrating the courageous life of Air Force officers. When Kangana unveiled posters of Tejas, she dedicated the film "Honouring the bravery of our heroic Air Force Pilots."

Kangana Ranaut’s Tejas is all set to hit the theatres on October 20 and will clash with Amitabh Bachchan, Tiger Shroff, and Kriti Sanon-starrer Ganapath-Part 1. Helmed by Vikas Bahl, Ganapath-Part 1 is a sci-fi action thriller. Earlier, Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency was going to clash with Tiger Shroff’s film, however, the actress postponed her release.
Other than Tejas, Kangana Ranaut will be seen in Emergency. In her directorial venture Emergency, Kangana will be seen essaying the role of Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The biographical film also stars Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, and late actor Satish Kaushik. The film is scheduled to release on November 24.
