'Always a superstar': Sunny Deol's son Rajveer Deol celebrates Gadar 2 success, pens heartfelt note with throwback photo

Sunny Deol is roaring like a lion at the box office. His latest-released Gadar 2 is minting huge money, and setting new records. Owing to the grand success of Gadar 2, Tara Singh, aka Sunny's younger son, Rajveer Deol, penned an appreciation note, celebrating the reception his father's latest movie has received. 

On Instagram, The young actor shared a touching message accompanied by a photograph of the father-son duo, highlighting the deep admiration and respect he holds for his father. In the caption, he wrote, "You're the institution we look up to. The honesty, passion and dedication with which you work are reflected in the response #Gadar2 has been garnering. Once a Superstar, always a Superstar. It's time to celebrate my superhero, my DAD."

Soon after Rajveer's post, his father Sunny replied on the post, and wrote, "Love you my son (heart emojis)." Rajveer's uncle, Bobby Deol, also dropped heart emojis on the post.

As far as the box office collections are concerned in two days, Gadar 2 has collected more than Rs 80 crores in India. As per the official figures shared by productions, Gadar 2 collected Rs 43 crore on Saturday taking the two-day total to Rs 83.10 crore. This has made it Sunny Deol's highest-grossing film in his entire career of 40 years, eclipsing the first part of Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, which collected Rs 77 crore in its entire theatrical run 22 years back.   

Also starring Ameesha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma, and Manish Wadhwa, Gadar 2 is directed by Anil Sharma who helmed the first part also. Just as the 2001 blockbuster made several box office records, the sequel has also wreaked havoc at the ticket windows with theatres running housefull shows round the clock.

Speaking about Rajveer Deol, the young lad is all set to make his mark in the entertainment industry with his debut film Dono. The love drama is directed by Sooraj Barjatya's son Avnish S. Barjatya, and it is backed by Rajshri Productions. The movie will also mark the debut of Poonam Dhillon's daughter Paloma.
