Suniel Shetty celebrated the return of the glory of Indian cinema and expressed his happiness on the success of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Gadar 2, OMG 2, and Jailer.
The month of August has brought great relief to Bollywood and Indian cinema. It all started when at the July end, Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani (RARKPK) brought back families to cinema halls. The month of August will be remembered as one of the best months of 2023, as Sunny Deol's Gadar 2, Akshay Kumar's OMG 2, and Rajinikanth's Jailer have impressed the audience, and raked moolahs at the box office.
The three major films targeted the Independence Day weekend, and as a result, cinema halls across the country are witnessing houseful shows. Suniel Shetty celebrated the glorious period of cinema and acknowledged the success of these films. On Sunday, Suniel took his thoughts to Twitter, and wrote, "How fantastic the last couple weeks have been for cinema! Started with #RockyaurRani, and now #Gadar2, #OMG2 and #Jailer have all smashed it at the box office. And with the extended weekend the movie magic is only going to soar higher! Grab your popcorn and enjoy the blockbuster spree!"

As far as the collections are concerned, RARKPK has collected over Rs 126 crores in India. Sunny Deol's Gadar 2 has become his career's highest-grossing film by collecting Rs 83.18 crore in just two days. Akshay Kumar's OMG 2 has earned Rs 15.30 crores. Rajinikanth's Jailer has collected Rs 215 crores worldwide in three days.
On the work front, Suniel Shetty was last seen in the series Dharavi Bank, followed by Hunter Tootega Nahi Todega. He will next be seen in the much-awaited Hera Pheri 3 with Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. He will also be seen in Welcome 3 and Awara Paagal Deewana 2.
