Oscars 2021: 'Jodhaa Akbar' helmer Ashutosh Gowariker to be part of AMPAS again with Hrithik Roshan, Neeta Lulla

A few days back it was announced that Hrithik Roshan, Alia Bhatt, Neeta Lulla, Sandeep Kamal are among Indians who have been invited by Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS). Ashutosh Gowariker, whose 2001 directorial Lagaan made it to Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film nominations is also going to be a part of Oscars 2021. If all artists accept the invitation sent by the AMPAS, then they will get a chance to vote in the awards too.

The Instagram page of Ashutosh Gowariker Productions posted photos of the filmmaker with Hrithik, Neeta and Sandeep congratulating them for receiving invitations from AMPAS. While sharing Hrithik and Neeta's BTS still from Jodhaa Akbar, the post was captioned as "Your achievements are a testament to your hard work! While announcing Hrithik's name, the AMPAS press statement mentioned Super 30 and Jodhaa Akbar. While mentioning Neeta's name they acknowledged her contributions for movies Jodhaa Akbar and Devdas. Sandeep Kamal was credited for his VFX work in Panipat and Jal.
