India’s most expensive electric scooter has a top speed of 105 km/h and it can sprint from 0-60 km/h in 4.5 seconds.

TVS has launched the new TVS X as India’s most expensive electric scooter at a price of Rs 2.5 lakh and it does not come with FAME-II subsidy. The sporty TVS X scooter comes with several firsts for the Indian market. The TVS X electric scooter is based on the Creon concept that was showcased by the company at Auto Expo 2018. Based on the company's new 'Xleton' architecture, the new TVS X EV uses an all-new aluminium alloy frame. It has a wheelbase of 1,285 mm and a ground clearance of 175 mm. TVS X comes with an underseat storage capacity of just 19 litres as the batteries occupy a lot of space. Talking about the battery, TVS X gets a 4.44 kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt battery pack that is claimed to offer 140 km of range.
The EV comes with a ram-air-cooled permanent magnet mid-drive motor that makes 9.38 BHP and a peak output of 14.75 BHP. TVS is offering three riding modes in its most expensive scooter - Xtealth, Xtride and Xonic. TVS claims that a 3 kW home charger can recharge the battery to 50% in less than an hour. When it comes to features, the TVS X gets a tilt-adjustable 10.25-inch touchscreen instrument console that supports NavPro navigation system, games, live video streaming and more. The scooter also gets features like speed limiter, overspeed alerts, anti-theft alarm, live vehicle location, PIN-based unlocking system, fall alert, tow alert and cruise control.
