The price and sale date of the new gadget Apple Watch Series 7 has been announced for Indian customers.
Apple has recently announced the price and availability date of the Apple Watch Series 7 in India. According to the official announcement, the new Apple Watch will be released for sale in India in the first wave on October 15, 2021.
Apple made this announcement through a press release, in which it stated that the product will be sold in India from October 15, and pre-orders will begin a week before this date. The Apple Watch Series 7 was unveiled alongside the iPhone 13 series last month.
One of the most notable features of the Apple Watch Series 7 is the Always-On Retina display that features more screen area and thinner borders, accommodating additional on-screen content and easy typing for the user. It also comes pre-loaded with the newest operating system- watchOS 8.
The watchOS 8 software has certain exciting features such as the new Mindfulness app and enhanced Messages as well as the Photos app, which were not present in the earlier models of the Apple Watch. The exact features of the watch were announced last month during the Apple event.
Apple Watch Series 7: Price in India
Apple, in its press release, has announced that the Apple Watch Series 7 will be launched in India at the starting price of Rs 41,900. The watch will be available for pre-order for Indian customers who wish to buy the product from October 8, at 1 pm.
In the first wave of the release of the new Apple Watch, it will be released in India, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Russia, South Korea, the UAE, the UK, the US, and more than 50 other countries, according to the company.
Though the model-wise price of the Apple Watch Series 7 has not been announced in India yet, e-commerce site Flipkart shows that the basic 41 mm GPS model will be available for Rs 41,900 while the 45 mm model of the same will be available for Rs 44,900.
The website further suggests that the Apple Watch Series 7 GPS + Cellular option will release at the price of Rs. 50,900 for the 41mm variant and Rs. 53,900 for the 45mm option.
